The Project for Integration
why and for whom

The aim of this project is to build better relationships between people through meeting and working in small groups. We focus on 3 to 4 families gatherings with the participants of different age -from small children, teenagers and parents to grandparents. The whole families are invited but of course anybody interested in family matters and alternative education willing to share their own ideas, abilities and experience are welcome.
We are eager to create the environment for building good relationships among three generations - from kids to elderly people. It happens through the artistic and other educational activities which are prepared by the participants, including us - organizers, according to what we all want to share with others.

Our experience is that the best number of people in a group is between 10-20. Such a party is small enough to train interactions and develop a family like atmosphere and big enough to provide a great deal of  inspiration for everybody. The average camp lasts from 7 to 14 days.
During the meetings the participants are asked to organize mini-workshops for the other people, based on their work, hobby or common knowledge like cooking for example. There are different approaches to the workshops. Sometimes it is telling stories by the bonfire, sometimes it is something practical such as a game or baking or an experiment. Sometimes it is teaching a trick or showing some useful websites. As organizers we provide art classes of all sorts. We are also responsible for making it possible that people open for each other and are willing to share. Sharing must be a free gift for the benefit of all, quite voluntary and not forced in any, even the slightest way. The participants needn`t  prepare for the workshops in advance. If there is an idea we look for materials, unless it is chemistry or something in need of professional equipment.

These kinds of gatherings are different from other workshops in that they are aimed at exchange. Most workshops are organized for the people to acquire specific knowledge and learn from one particular lecturer. The focus is gaining some new abilities or knowledge.
In our case the focus is developing relationships through exchange in the field of art and other educational activities plus typical holiday set offered by the area in which the camp is organized.
Another feature of this project is the participation of three generations. In the modern world the link between the generations is often broken and this brings a great many problems for the whole of society. The meetings are a kind of relationships training and the experience gained can be an asset in later real life situations. The elderly discover and learn to understand younger people`s ways of thinking, problems, joys, fears and passions. On the other hand the young gain a lot from older people`s experience, wisdom, common sense and knowledge.
Children are also very important members at the meetings - through participation in the workshops and observing the adults working and cooperating, they naturally learn new skills and at the same time build relationships with older members. All homeschooling families are welcome and all those who are interested in family and relationships matters through education and art. Beyond the meetings, surely through discussions and active participation, other initiatives can be born, thus further improving intergenerational relationships between people in general.
Everything happens in a friendly atmosphere, in modest but pleasant accommodation,
with catering on daily basis in nice surroundings.
Any kind of sponsorship or cooperation in organizing the meetings would be of great help to us and especially for those participants, who are willing to take part but their finances do not allow it.
